The End

Well its the end of the semester. It was a ride indeed. Their was a lot of all nighters and a lot of plain hard work. It was a weird semester, it took a long time to get it going, a slow start, but in the end I feel I have accomplished quite a bit. new territory was tread this semester and a lot of doors and new ideas are open for next semester and after that. I'm very excited for next semester but I am definitely ready for a break.

The Lathe

Last night I used the lathe for pretty much the first time. It was rough at first, but once i figured out how to position the blade it started cutting well and it became quite a bit if fun. Trying to cut out and smooth out sections became soothing to me after awhile. The Hammer came out pretty good to me and i look forward to trying out the lathe some more.

My Plexiglass

Pics of my plexiglass that Frankie took, that I just took off of his Bespoke page.

SOFA space ships

These works were some of my favorite. the ships were simple in form, but very stylistic and fun to me. I loved the retro look to all of his pieces. I have since started my own ship, but mine is going to be a deep sea submersible. Taking me to other worlds.

SOFA Deep Sea Style

All these piece that were present at SOFA reminded me of the deep sea. The top two remind me of my own work, as in the plexiglass and that style of work.
